Canter's Cab - Comfort - Canter Interior

As you climb into Canter's cab, ready to sink into its comfortable Isringhausen seats, you will be immediately impressed by how easy it is to get in. The doors open in two stages to a generous 78 degrees and the non slip steps are neatly protected by the door, keeping them free from road dirt. As you settle into your Isringhausen seat, you'll find it easy to adjust, with plenty of room to adjust it into, as the cab features plenty of head and legroom because of its innovative design.

Driving position is further enhanced by the Canter's adjustable steering wheel which can be adjusted for both angle and height. You can specify optional armrests too giving you further comfort when reaching for the ergonomically designed controls. Everything is easily in reach, including secondary functions such as heating and ventilation controls. The dash mounted gearshift is a delight to use too - Another Canter First. It has a precise feel to it with an effortless short travel, making the daily grind of driving seem much easier and relaxed. The absence of the gear lever from the floor makes through access to the other side of the cab much easier too, creating further space for the two passengers on the generously wide bench seat. Crew cabs add a further four passengers in the rear allowing seven to travel with a load and tools.

The great driving position and effortless controls are added to by a fantastic ride that helps the miles to glide by. The suspension system has been optimised and is further enhanced by the standard driver's suspension seat helping to reduce driver fatigue - as does the work that Mitsubishi Fuso have put into aerodynamics and sound insulation to keep cab noise levels down to a minimum.

Temperature is maintained by a powerful heating and ventilation system that also keeps the Canter's large windscreen and windows frost an fog free. The system can be further enhanced with optional air conditionin, and in crew cab models, an auxilliary heater in the rear.

Comfort comes as standard with the Canter, helpful details that make your everyday life in the vehicle easier and more efficient. Things like electric windows as standard, that cost a lot as an optional extra elsewhere.
